  • Hailey Herrera

    Owner, Trainer

My name is Hailey, I am a certified dog trainer. I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember but my genuine desire for dog training began when I got my first dog, Grizzly. Being fearful and reactive, he requires a significant amount of management in order to live a happy life. Each of my dogs had pushed me to be a trainer in different ways but Griz is the dog that sparked that fire in me to pursue a career in dog training. After working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, volunteering at NOAH in Stanwood as a lead dog technician, and expanding my dog knowledge into the field of training, I went to school to get certified through The International Association for Animal Behavior Consultants as an accredited dog trainer; the Karen Pryor Puppy Start Right program, and through the International School for Canine Psychology! I am also certified for CPR, basic first aid for dogs and cats, and an AKC CGC and trick dog evaluator. I currently dabble and compete in various sports such as nose work, rally, barn hunt, and disc. In my free time, I like to practice my photography skills by taking pictures of my dogs and my client’s dogs, reading, gardening, and going to car shows!

  • Halley Hopkins

    Trainer

I’m Halley, a certified dog trainer with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA), and I’m also an AKC CGC and Trick Evaluator. I’ve been training for a little over six years, starting with my own fearful, people-reactive dog, Nelly. Determined to help her, I sought ways to teach her better coping skills. My journey continued with my rescue dog, Gizmo, who was reactive to other dogs, and eventually with Vinny, another reactive rescue.

I previously served as the head trainer and regional manager for Zoom Room Bellevue and Zoom Room Seattle, where I taught group classes ranging from puppy training to novice and advanced obedience, as well as agility. I was awarded Manager of the Year in 2022 and recognized as one of the top 20 positive reinforcement trainers by Sniffspot in 2023, plus I was featured in GlobalPETS- PETS International Magazine. I’m passionate about continuing education and spend my downtime expanding my knowledge in this ever-evolving industry.
