Is your dog barking and lunging at other dogs, people, or even guests who come over? Is your dog Resource guarding food, chews or space? Behavior Consulting focuses not only on teaching you WHY your dog is having these issues, but how to help you navigate them. We will develop a behavior modification plan and be there every step of the way to implement this plan in order to obtain the best possible results for you, your family and your dog. Included with any consult is 6 months of support via text or email.

Board and Train

Working full time and need to tackle some training goals with your dog? Having a well rounded canine companion requires a lot of time, work, and dedication. It can be exhausting having to worry about all the work that goes into raising a puppy, or even tackling behaviors your adult dog is producing that may be undesirable. This program is a great way to jump-start your training and get them started on the right path to success as a well-adjusted adult dog! During the board and train, your dog will stay with us in our home environment, not in a kennel. Your dog will receive 1 on 1 training with videos and progress updates sent home, begin learning potty training and proper house manners (crate training, settle, etc), and extensive socialization (with other dogs, cats, people, and in new environments during field trips), as well as a one-hour private training session when your dog goes home to discuss all the skills introduced so you have all the tools you need to maintain the training at home. 6 months of email and text support, is also included with this program. This program is open to dogs of all ages and is completely tailored to meet the goals of your dog and lifestyle!

Walk and Train

The walk and train program is excellent for dogs who need practice generalizing basics, dogs who are struggling with reactivity or for socializing! Skills to be worked on may include loose leash walking, recall, reactivity, heel work, and more. This is a great program for dogs of any age. The walk and train program may also include field trips to dog friendly locations depending on the dog’s individual needs. Homework is assigned after each session and you will be provided a video going over that week’s skill. This program is exclusively for dogs who have graduated from either private training or a board and train, and all dogs MUST be up to date on vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies and Bordatella).

Single 45 minute walk and train: $50

Private Training

Private training is great for puppies or adults and their owners who need some guidance on basics or meeting specific goals. This is more hands on and in the presence of the owner(s) in your home! Cues such as wait/stay, place, threshold manners, puppy basics and more. These sessions are one hour and homework is given each week. A consultation is required prior to booking any private training and 4 months of text/email support is included with all private training consultations.

Virtual Training: This is a fantastic option for people who may have odd work hours, live outside of our service area, or if you prefer distance training!

Dog Walking

This service is great if you don't need training, you just need someone to give your dog a potty break or a quick walk! We will play in the back yard, go on a walk, focus on mental enrichment through sniffing and food games or play a game of fetch or tug. A meet and greet is required prior to booking any dog walks. Now accepting new clients!
